There isn’t one way to do things, but there is a right way for every situation

This philosophy has won us a best-in-class reputation, but it didn't happen overnight. We earned it by establishing relationships within the communities we serve. By choosing to have a passion for seeing each project through, and for treating our clients and work as more than just a job, that philosophy is carrying us into our 4th generation of heating and cooling on Vancouver Island.

We Care

We are committed to being an active participant in the communities we live in and serve. Over the years we have performed in-kind donations for many local organizations including local veterans, Hospice, Make-a-Wish, local Mo-vember Campaigns in support of prostate cancer research, Habitat for Humanity, and Women in Need WIN Stores.

Energy Star

We're proud to support the Energy Star program. Nearly all of the products we offer carry the Energy Star certification.

We Recycle

From used water heaters to worn-out furnaces, Cedar Coast Heating and Mechanical Inc. are proud to recycle all of the old equipment we remove from homes. The wood, metal, and all we can is recycled and used in post-consumer goods, and other building products.
We take pride in caring for our communities on Vancouver Island and practice green living in the field, our office, and our own homes

The History of
Our Company

Since the 1950s

The father-son team of Rick and Brenden Talbot take care of education and installation in your home. But the family tree branches farther than that.
While Cedar Coast Heating and Mechanical are celebrating its first year in business, Rick Talbot's history in heating goes back generations. His grandfather Harry Talbot was one-half of Victoria's Cook & Talbot in the 1950s.
From the postwar days of oil heating to leading the transition to gas furnaces, the Talbots have seen it all. "There's a rich heating history with that family," Fragomeni-Hay says. The combination of father Rick's experience with son Brenden's awareness of the latest technologies means customers get the best of both worlds.
